Amaretto affogato

One of my favourite desserts! A busy day, this morning we washed the bedding and managed to get it dry pegged on the washing line. I did my Dad’s housework and trimmed one of his holly trees which was getting unruly. The floor of the flooded utility room was prepared ready for painting next weekend. The house was cleaned. Then we popped to one of our favourite restaurants to buy a gift voucher for my sister (it’s her birthday on Monday) and decided to treat ourselves to a late lunch while we were there.
