Pictures in an exhibition

An exhibition of painting by artist Bruce Eckhart in Gallery 3 of Arts com?lex, Edinburgh (the ? is meant to be there, it's part of the name). Heard about it from the artist's wife who I happened to meet today so dropped in after work. Highly recommend going along for a look. My favourite painting was entitled 'Phoenix' but they are all great. His works are colourful abstracts that are both eye catching and intelligently composed. Bruce Eckhart hails from Mtwara in Tanzania and his upbringing there produced his love of vibrant colours. He moved to Scotland in 1972 and studied art. Today he lives with his wife and their family in Edinburgh.
