Candlelight Dinner

It wasn’t planned that way. Right around 5:00 pm the power went out. Oddly in our complex, it’s just out in Buildings A and B where we live. C and D and the business buildings that are part of our complex all have power. The cause according to PSE is equipment failure. Who’d think our two buildings would be on different equipment than the rest of the complex.

So I fed the cats and made dinner by flashlights. Luckily I bought a pack of three mini lanterns a few years ago at Costco. They are really bright and I could manage it all with their help. Shelly came over with a bigger lantern so we are set. Power is still off and it’s after 7:00. No word on when we’ll get power back.
