Spring sunshine

The sunshine encouraged me to carry out the first planting on the allotment garden.
This morning the first early potatoes, Casablanca, have been planted, covered with fleece to protect them from the frost. It is early but had been successful for the last three years. I also planted the onion sets, Stuttgarter Giant. The annual garden gardening cycle starts again.

It is good to something active and absorbing during this time of terrible news.
