Solidarity

I wasn't going to post this Flag/Postcard as it was to be based on Satin Stitch, a stitch I have always avoided as it needs to be accurate. Mine is pretty wobbly.

However, the colours cried out to me today and just asked to be used and recorded. And it took me away from the News for a while.

It's only a token of solidarity, but it is done whilst thinking of all the women who, instead of being able to sit in peace and sew, are fighting, hiding, trying to find a safe place for their children, looking at the ruins of their home, wondering how it will all end . . .
