Don't look down!

This is the view looking down from the dam at Scar House Reservoir in Nidderdale. It is a fantastic structure, and a marvel of engineering. If such structures were built today, they would be rather brutalist and purely of a functional nature.
After the recent spate of miserable weather, today turned out lovely.

We were intending to do just the circuit of Scar House, but as it was such a good day we ended up doing the complete circuit of Scar House Reservoir and Angram Reservoir which is immediately up stream of the former.
