It was forecast to be a beautiful day...and it was. I'd decided to go to Martin Mere today, but nearly changed plans as it was so gorgeous here. Anyway, I'm glad I went. I met up with some friends who love whooper swans as much as I do... lots of them there today, but soon they will be gone for another year.

My sister & hubby tested positive for Covid today. They think they caught it at the funeral of a close friends mum last Tuesday. The friend is married to an American - and, get this - he got on a plane from the US, knowing he had covid. So that's all the people on the flight + people at the funeral. I just don't get why you would do all that if you know you have covid.
