J's turn

Mrs EG had her turn getting the fancy get up. She did scent hunt, no wildlife involved. There was port for Dutch courage at the start. Which I think she needed as buddy was on a mission. 

After that we went canoeing, a little paddle up the soar into a head wind and up river and then an easy run back. We took our new folding canoe, made by Neris kayaks, they are based on the outskirts of Kyiv. The brave people in the Ukraine haven't been far from my thoughts for the last few days. 

Then home for late lunch and we took the RC cars for a blast around billa Barra hill. Good fun but mechanicals stopped play, Toby's motor had come loose and my steering had failed. 

More sun today felt like spring was on it's way.
