Harlequin

Today Angus moved into his new flat in Dumfries. We shift most of the stuff that ended up in Castle Douglas up the road - including a spare mattress tied onto the Jimny roof, flapping cavalierly in the wind.

It’s a well located ground floor flat, not far from the river. Everything works and there are bowls and plates and cutlery and everything. We go shopping at Homebase and Tesco for bedding and a grater and bog roll.

Lamb and barley stew with cauliflower cheese for tea, followed by steamed syrup pudding with custard.
