A photo of a 35mm roll film photo, taken from a Gondola,the young lady obligingly came to the window just at the right moment. So many homes were in this very poor state, due to the high costs of renovation, with materials all to be shipped in by boat. My very first visit, been many more times since, the beauty of the city drew me back, so many times.
