She was a good mother # 1A

So this is what happened with oil sticks and cold wax.   Just to be clear, i'm not trying to make a painting that actually refers to my mother etc., but just going with an unconscious sense of my thoughts and feelings!  who knows eh, all very enlightening for sure.

Jane invited us over for dinner with Patrizia, Linus and Mary-Ann.  we had a great evening, it's been a while since we were out at a 'party' - dinner was fabulous and the wine and conversation were exactly what we needed!
