Japanese Anemones

I've been out only briefly today as the rain has been incessant.
I'd intended going on a fungi hunt, as I'm sure I wouldn't have had any trouble finding some, but just too wet.

Terrible scenes on the north coast.
I just saw three people, two of them elderly, who had spent the entire night on their roof.
