Fire Dept Truck ...

... just around the corner from the entrance to our apartment in Paris.  Fortunately it had nothing to do with us, nor did I inquire why it was there, manned by three officers in black uniforms (they appeared very tall :)  I also don't know how long it was there, since we encountered it returning from our afternoon outing to our nearby supermarket.   It left fairly soon, with no siren--a puzzling. event.
