An unexpected temple altar

Koh Rang is a desert island of the Koh Chang/Koh Kood archipelago. It is only visited in day time by people, who want to snorkel over the nearby Marine Park reef. I saw a small red temple at one end of the beach over the rocks. I walked there out of curiosity and found out this unusual temple built by fishermen. The phallus cult is common in Asia. Some Thais wear it as a neck pendent. Once, I saw an identical holy sanctuary on a beach cave near Krabi. But it was quite unusual to see this one on such a remote place.
