Creek's up (a lot)

More rain last night and the severe flooding is moving down the coast, now affecting the Hawkesbury and Nepean Rivers in western Sydney.
I blipped this same crossing 3 days ago and you'd have nearly walked across. Today's shot, taken from the other side, is a bit more exciting! We see it like this a couple of times a year. The actual numbers on the gauges are meaningless but they can be useful as general reference points - note the different readings either side of the road!
I've left my water pump on the creek bank about 150m upstream on the other side (old age again). At best, I'll just need to drain out the oil and petrol. At worst, it will have disappeared - could be worse, it's only a cheap Chinese unit!
