Jasperware

If any Blippers have been following the ‘Great Pottery Throw Down’ on Channel 4 they will have seen the latest Spot Test involved Wedgwood Jasperware.  The test was to create (using moulds) the relief decorations (sprigs) – and apply them to a clay pot. Much more difficult than it appeared.
Me and Mrs MD have quite a number of Jasperware items – some shown here in my Blip.
They are produced in many colours but Wedgwood Blue is the most common and most popular.
Jasperware has fallen out of favour over recent years, but maybe the TV exposure will revive interest.
