At the bottom of the garden...

The third wet grey day in a row; quickly fed the birds then headed back inside for some armchair birdwatching. Lots of visitors this morning, including a mixed flock of finches. Don’t often see Chaffinches in the garden so had to blip this long-distance-through-the-window shot.

Had the chance to meet with a friend for a cuppa this morning but I still don’t feel like sitting in a crowded supermarket cafe, Covid case numbers are still very high round here. Talking to my neighbour yesterday, all five of her family recently had Covid, plus her mum, and both she and her mum (fully jabbed) were really poorly for ten days. It certainly isn’t just a cold.
