Day 10: UCU strike

Today was our 10th day striking. Everyone came to the Old College for a big picket. We didn't quite manage to surround the entire building but we had a good go at it. It was good to have a chance to chat with people from other schools and colleges. This might be our last day of strike in this round but the feelings are getting stronger. University employers are getting more angry and/or fed-up, senior management are digging their heels in and are refusing to talk to us. Tomorrow we are going to be back, working to contract. And we are going to think about what we can do when the next round of strike action will come.
