It's a fair cop

It's been a thoroughly miserable day with grey skies and rain. A complete contrast to yesterday.

Halifax Swimming Pool closed at the beginning of 2020 due to a combination of structural failures, maintenance issues and the pandemic which appeared to be the final nail in the coffin. I have fond memories of swimming there with Harriet. Fortunately a new leisure centre is under construction at North Bridge.

This week the former pool is undergoing a new lease of life as it is being turned into a fictional police station for the Sally Wainwright TV series Happy Valley.
