The wee house.

The flowers aren’t in bloom and the vegetable patches are yet to be made ready for next season. But none the less, the community walled garden in a local public park is a lovely place. Scotland’s Justice Secretary recently praised the work of offenders who have created it as part of their community service. The walled garden has had many roles over the years, reasonably recently it was the Council plant nursery, but became derelict. The Cyrenians charity maintain it and they’re supported by Community Payback. Some folks who came here on the programme are now volunteers, they’ve found it personally rewarding. The wee house is one of several around the garden, and made us smile.

We came to the park after my wife’s follow up dental appointment. We’re both back for the hygienist tomorrow.

Family are well. Our sons went to a football match in Perth; younger son offered tickets 2hrs beforehand.
