Passionfruit Gin

I thought the rain had stopped so I walked to the village shop to drop off a parcel for Hermes and then collected a prescription from the pharmacy next door.

Although there was some light rain I decided to visit the Farmer’s Market in the village. I had not visited this one before and although I expected crafts and cakes, I also, naively, expected there to be vegetables and fruit; it was a farmer’s market after all. There was a variety of different goods from cheese and meat to specialist alcohol. Today’s picture is the bottle of passionfruit gin that I purchased.

As some of you may remember back in January the window company, that were going to fit our new windows decided to increase the cost by over fifty percent. Subsequent to my email in January we did receive a telephone call. Apparently they had not quoted to take out the old windows! The said they would speak with colleagues and get back to us. No one did, so during the week I emailed their complaint's department again. I think they got the tone of my message as in this morning's post there vwas a cheque for the full refund of our deposit! We really liked their windows, but I now have the job of getting more quotes.

The afternoon will be taken up with a zoom meeting helping to judge some photographs for a competition.

Noon Today – Six degrees Celsius.

I did the Wordle today, but find it annoying that there is now a lot of guesswork involved. Even though I got three letters in the right order by line two, there were at least three words that would fit; I got it on the fifth attempt!
