A salon of curlews

I headed up for an early morning wildlife fix. Since visiting just a few days ago, lots of curlews have arrived on the moor and it was loud with their haunting tremolo calls so I didn't walk around, just sat and watched.  I was thinking it would be nice if something dropped in in front of me.

I didn't think I was going to see barny this time but as I was thinking about leaving, I spotted him in the distance hunting near one of the farms.  I watched a while longer before heading home for a second breakfast.
