Past their best

A few days ago there was a lovely photo on Facebook of our churchyard looking very colourful with spring flowers, so I went out today especially to capture them myself for my blip. It was a cold dull afternoon, so maybe this is why there was very little to show for my expedition. The crocus were all miserably shrivelled and the snowdrops had finished. There were daffodils against a distant fence. The churchyard looked rather neglected with fallen twigs scattered everywhere from recent storms. A disappointing trip for a blip opportunity, but it got me out in the fresh air.
