The Abbey

To Cambuskenneth Abbey, a mere blink down the road. 
I wanted to explore, look at angles etc. on such a beautiful day, but no. Shut. In days of old I may have hoofed over the five foot spiked fence; nowadays, not so keen. Still, the sun and the shadows were kind for this shot.
The extra shows a chap who (if he was part of the original build), has been staring at the same spot for nigh on nine centuries. Imagine his delight if he spots a moving leaf, or a cat on the prowl. A human looking up: hallelujah!!
