A walk with friends.

We went to visit old friends. Not seen for months, it arranged by WhatsApp and 2 video calls; the date had moved around a few times. We had been keeping an eye on the weather because we’d agreed to walk over the Moss when through. Boots and appropriate jackets were put in the car, and we remembered the lovely Empire Biscuits my wife had baked this morning. We’d a straightforward drive through, and we turned up on time … except we were a week early!

The Moss is a raised bog, and there is silver birch woodland and some - it’s a popular local nature reserve, and nice to visit.
