Wonderful Worlebury Walk

Under a blue sky and in sunshine, we enjoyed a fabulous circular walk today - around five-and-a-half miles. We went through Worlebury woods, past the Iron Age Camp Fort, down Trinity Steps to Prince Consort gardens (See Extra.). Along the coast path on the edge of the woods towards Kewstoke, where lads on bikes were doing wheelies and looping the loop. Even watching them was uplifting and exhilarating - so good to see youngsters having fun in the fresh air.

We carried on round to Kewstoke, up the hill and finally up Monks Steps and back to Worlebury. Great views of Weston-super-Mare from above, looking down on the pier. My FitBit clocked up well over 12,000 steps - nearer 13K - and 101 active minutes, though our walk was actually about two and a quarter hours including stops to enjoy the views and take photos - and watch the bikers - great spectator sport (the thumbnail image is a still from a video I took)!

So more of a super Saturday than a silly one this week! Thanks for all the lovely reactions to my yesterblip.
