Good Morning

I saw this silly little Bushtit sleeping near the window this morning; I took this photo from inside. I have seen hummingbirds sleeping here, but seldom any other birds; it is a protected area with my pineapple sage plants during the cold winter days. Silly, but wise, little bird to find this safe place for the night...I wonder where the rest of his flock slept.. Bushtits usually travel in flocks of ten to twenty...I seldom see one alone.  

Today was a beautiful sunny day, but tonight will be cold again. I got a lot of cleanup done in the garden but there is a lot more to be done. 

Ron and his wife arrived safely in Hawaii; they were upgraded to a corner ocean front room on a high floor, their view is terrific.
