First Tulip

A day of firsts in the garden this morning. The first tulip has opened and I saw the first butterfly of the season (a Small Tortoiseshell). I think it must have only just emerged as I nearly stepped on it before it managed to gather itself and fly away.

Couldn't resist adding an extra of the frogs. They are all looking very pleased with themselves!
