A record

purely for myself of the replacing of the water pipe from the meter to the house, following the costly leak.  The pipe from the house underneath the rooms to the kitchen tap was replaced as this was where the leak was, but the insurance wouldn't cover the rest of it so I had it done to prevent further wastage. My neighbour also had his done. The pipes are well past their sell by date and prone now to leakage so better to  have them replaced.
They came on Sunday and brought the youngster along to assist. He did a grand job, as did they. 
Looking out now I'd never have known they'd been.
