Today I saw the catkins blow...

... although the fields were white with snow, goes the rhyme, though in fact there has been precious little snow this winter.
A cold but bright day, the kind that makes you think Spring is near. I sat out in the sun doing some work in the afternoon until the cold drove me inside, but what fantastic light (see extras) while I did so.
