The Green Snake has returned!

Well there is nothing quite so disconcerting as starting the morning with no running water in the kitchen!!!    We do have water in the bathroom next to our bedroom, thankfully.....so at least we got the coffee on!

This happened before..... and luckily the old green snake was easily accessible today....we have over 2' of snow everywhere!   We have just spent some time cleaning it so it's not quite so weird looking...mind you it sort of looked like it was camouflaged!   Terry is now hooking the snake up to the pipe in the laundry room.

I was supposed to go into Baddeck this afternoon to attend the annual Dead Feminists event, but it started snowing around 1pm and the forecast was for 1" every hour...would therefore have accumulated to about 5-6" by the time i would have been driving home.   So i cancelled.   But, we were out of wine and i really wanted Tom's pizza for dinner, so around 2.30 before the storm had really hit, i drove into town for wine and pizza!  

It'll be a nice reward for this strange wintery day!
