Monitoring

Currently in our fourth hour at triage. Right now I'm strapped up to a monitor that's making sure the little one is doing okay. We were referred here this afternoon after the GP wasn't happy with my high bp and iffy urine sample as well as a stitch like pain in my side. Unfortunately a couple of emergencies happened before we arrived and the wait was pretty long. Although, as we said to the midwife, if I had an emergency hd rather be seen first too ;)

Upshot is that all is okay. Bp is borderline but okay and it's probably just a wee infection. Baby is fine and the midwife confirmed she's head down.

Hoping to get released soon and have a very belated dinner.
