Scarred

At last some sunny weather and I'm feeling well enough to enjoy it!

Lots of spring bulbs have popped up in the garden but thought I'd tell the tale of this tree.  Once a sapling near the house, it was re-planted at the bottom of the garden and in the 'children-years' (15+?) completely ignored.  It got really big and was used to hold a hammock for a while.  I nearly had it cut down entirely but ended up having it reduced.

It rather sad that I've managed to scar it through neglect - the hammock rope is absorbed into the tree!

In other news I'm feeling so much better - my covid-positive line is merely a trace of its former self.  Anticipating I'll be back to  normal relations tomorrow.
