Nature Diary... An Exciting Day!

A mad, icy cold east wind blew like fury throughout the day, whipping up the sea and thrashing the white horses. At home the outdoor wind chimes joined in the thrill with all their might, enthusiastically ringing out their excitement, and on a nearby rooftop two crows sat side by side for an extraordinarily long time, hunkered down against the icy wind, their sleekly feathered faces pointing straight into the wind as they looked east over the sea.
