Little Blue Heron

I kayaked solo for the first time in weeks to a part of the Ocklawaha river by the Rodman Dam.  So many birds!  What a peaceful paddle, at least for me.  Lots of frantic fishing by the breeding birds.  Osprey, eagles, all the herons and egrets as well as limpkin...joy.  
Tomorrow I pick up another visitor from the airport and my housemates return from SanDiego.  Adventures ahead, but not solo.
