Cafe Tabu

We started off with Italian for breakfast (cafe Nero) and finished off with French (cafe Tabu). Was meant to be going to the Glover Arms with Mum but when we went round to take her to her doc appointment to give blood she wasn’t feeling great with her IBS so that was cancelled. She told us to go ahead and have our meal out though, on her, and we thought of Cafe Tabu as haven’t been there for ages.

I had the nearest once which was the special. Chicken roulade the chicken stuffed with some French sausage on a bed of broccoli (I asked not to have the red cabbage which should have been there) I hate picked anything. Accompanied by a mash and a delicious sauce. Husband had the steak tenderloin or something with dauphinois and roast veg with a peppercorn sauce. He had the pudding afterwards I just had a cuppa.

It’s was delicious.

Afterwards we walked down by Perth Bridge to see it lit up in support of Ukraine.. boy it was a chilly but clear night .
