International Women's Day

I had forgotten all about it on this busy day in the office: For the first time I had technical problems in an online meeting (for which I invited!) and had to ask a colleague to take over for the first 30 minutes until the problem was solved with the help of our IT-staff. 

After the meeting, on my way to the train station, two flowers were given to me in the pedestrian area. A rose (from a party I would not vote vor) and a carnation from one of the large unions. Very nice, I thought and said, said my "thank you" twice and carried both home.

At home I found vases for both, the big one and the litte one and I'm happy with it.
