Shuffle

It was raining this morning so I couldn't be bothered to walk

That means queuing for the underground. The Waterloo and City line runs from Waterloo to Bank. It was opened in 1898 and is the shortest line at only 2.37 miles. It runs under the Thames and is used by only 15,000,000 people per year and only has two stops.

This is how we queue to use it. When the next train comes in the shuffle commences down onto the platform.

When on the platform, you are aware that the next one is coming as the train goes 'peep' and it shuffles forward. No whooshing for a Waterloo and City train.

I went to choir practice in London after work and for the first of only four before the performance, it wasn't too bad.

A bird shat on me today.

That about sums up the day
