Skiving ..

Off to the seaside today for no better reason than that the sun was shining and we hadn't been to Berwick for months.

Stopped in town to see if our favourite cafe (Mule En.Rouge, as quirky as the name suggests) had opened up its inside seating. It had, so it would have been rude not to stop in for coffee and a bagel. En route I took a picture of my favourite alley, though this is the first time from the southern end. LS Lowry painted it many times.

Fortified, we went across the Old Bridge and walked along Spittal Beach. There was a very stiff wind blowing, whipping up a bit of a sandstorm on the way out, coming back was much more pleasant.
