My First Canon SLR

Canon AV1 chrome body 50mm f1:1.8 FD-BL lens and Canon Winder A.
This was my first electronic camera purchased in 1979 At that time I had wanted the Canon AE1 but it was more than double the price.
My other choices were the Nikon EM or the Olympus OM 10 but they were well above my budget at that time.
