Depth Perception

I learned today that where you focus in the scene and what aperture is used affects how visible the falling snow is. Shutter speed comes into it also, I think the faster the better.

It had snowed all night and continued into the morning. I wasn't ready to go out and decided to experiment from the warmth. I think the window has a coating which gives the image a bluish cast.

I like the high key treatment and soft focus. The darker trunks are necessary to see the falling snow, although I lightened them as much as I could. I feel a sense of adventure, as if I were skiing through the trees.
