The Unisphere in Flushing Meadows, New York

This massive stainless steel globe stands 42.67 metres (140 feet) high and was presented to the 1964 World's Fair by United States Steel. Today, besides the 'UFO' towers made famous in Men in Black, it is Queens' most recognizable symbol and it's surrounding area is the park's most popular meeting place.
