The REAL end of the maple syrup collection-2013

Sitting in the front room, working on research for a next teaching day. what should drive past but the Oxford Maple Syrup Company truck pulling a big wagon full of those blue collection drums. The two owners, Peter and Bill sat in the cab. . Yep, that's right, I tossed a cat off the arm of the chair, slipped on the clogs and jumped in the car to follow them for a blip. Forgot the warm jacket, alas, grey skies and cold weather have returned.
No matter, nothing stands in the way of a true Blipper's daily image collection.
After a two minute, three block chase -- that's about all this village has, I tracked the truck and wagon down here. Peter and Bill were stopping at each home to offer the maple tree owner a choice of sample product for allowing them to tap its sap for their second season of maple syrup production.
So sweet of them and great PR.
As their suddenly designated "International Photographer of Oxford Maple Syrup Products," I was given the same choice as those sap donors: either a small bag of maple candies pressed into shapes or a 100 ml jug of Grade B Amber (the real thing). Surely, you can guess what I chose?

Watch This Space for future blips about a special offer from Peter and Bill to Scotland and the UK Blipper Blipping Society! well, at least Miss Winterfinch's blipping fans... some of whom are living off island.
