In For a Landing

With two different boats bringing in herring (a bait fish), the pelicans were streaming in. This one was about a foot away from landing. Most of them waited on the roof trying to get the "hole shot", the spot where they can stick their beaks in for the steal.

The captain of the first boat stayed close, so they didn't ask me to be the pelican scarecrow.
