Before the Fall

It’s a crappy looking photo, but a document of mad cat antics. P and I were in my office today, chatting, when Rani and Chaiyya both decided to play in my bookshelf. 

Rani mostly likes to crawl into the space behind the books (see extra), while her sister prefers to jump up to the top shelf. Just a second after I took the main blip photo, she jumped down onto Rani‘s back.

Poor Rani fell sideways, and came tumbling down amidst a shower of books, from almost 2 metres of height, hitting a chair, and getting half buried under the books after landing on the floor. 
She ran away, shellshocked, and didn‘t let anyone near her for about half an hour. But now she seems okay, she has enjoyed her dinner and has curled up in her favourite nest.
