Spring surprise

I have just realised that the Magnolia Stellata is covered in colourful buds. Quite why I have not spotted this before, escapes me, must be diverting my attention to other parts of the garden. Warm enough to take coffee on the patio  without the need for coats and funny hats, but eventually a chilly breeze sprang up this afternoon.
