Compromised

A newly cut tree stump reveals signs that the tree did not have long anyway. I think this was an ash and the marks caused by beetles.

Makes for an interesting pattern nevertheless, which reminds me of flames from a fire perhaps. Some of the saw marks are visible, adding further interest.
