Catching The Light

We were on our way to the local wildfowl reserve - the perfect place to test my new lens. But the magpie looked so lovely in the early light, it remained my favourite.

Still, I did get lots of lovely shots on the lakes. Very pleased with my new lens, despite it's weight. I like the lapwing in extras for its simplicity. Hope you agree.
