Having a go . . .

. . . at Still Life.

I've tried many times and I've not managed a decent composition, so I'm trusting to the textures and colours for this possible entry for a club competition.  It was good to use a tripod and my thoroughly decent 35 ƒ2 lens.  I'm now converted to that focal length again, after many years of using the 23.

This blue bowl camera came from the market on All Saints Garden in Cambridge. – probably ten or twelve years ago.  We bought many mugs and teapots from that potter and were very disappointed when he announced on one of our visits that he was stopping production, to carry on as a poet.  Our mugs are almost all gone now, but this bowl remains.
