My son, the traffic light

If you've looked at more than one of my photos, you'll know my son likes his footy kits. Red, preferably; if not, green (for the goalkeeper); if not, yellow (the away kit). Worn in combination, he looks like a traffic light.

Today, however, was a yellow day. The last day of term, with a week's spring break ahead of him. Oh, we had plans. But then his best friend's dad came down with Covid, followed in short succession by his best friend. All are well, but as part of the "plans" included a trip up north to see Mrs. Ottawacker's 96-year-old father, we had to "re-plan". Other parts of the "plan" involved having his best friend over. That too might be on hold.

This is all a mess. Thankfully Ottawacker Jr. has been pretty good about wearing his mask and has little or no intention of stopping, despite what our moronic Teletubby provincial leader says.

Today's blip is the "Take My Photo Day" shot, which we have taken in the same chair on the 11th of every month since he was born. It has gone pretty well really, apart from the time he fell off the chair - oh, and the time he through the staged globe off it too. It'll make a nice collage when he's 18. Or when he refuses to have the pics taken any more.

The extra is the Globe Incident.
